A person would have to be blind, deaf and dumb not to know who wrote this delightful piece. The last line gave you away! Your tongue-in-cheek presentation served you well. Seriously, I was impressed with your word construction and the tone of the article. I'll bet you had great fun putting all this together. You're the best!

A great mex (New Zealand accent) of history and humour (Australian spelling). Most enjoyable reading!

Hahahahahahahahahaha!
Oh my goodness, loved this whole piece.

If I had to pick a favorite line it would be this one:

"...would Betty or Veronica be the one who would eventually tie the knot, and “mariachi?”

From my childhood through my teens, (yes teens) I loved reading Archie comic books, so that line made me crack up.

Excellent job, you put a lot of work, thought and historical value to your entry.

Well done!

God Bless~

Great piece. I can’t add anything to this. My son was born in 1973 and was reading Archie and his friends comics in the 80s.

This work fit into the 8 criteria the judges use.

Thank you
I love your puns. Even the ones I don't always get right away make me smile because I have to reread it until I do get it! Congratulations on ranking 11th overall. Happy Dance!
