It’s been a while so let me get you up to date.
Some background.
I have been a member of FW since 2005. Haven’t posted or submitted an article since 2013. I owe FW much gratitude, as I believe that the help and support (not to mention the writings challenges) helped me publish my book Whispers.
A few things have happened since I’ve been gone.
He’s an amazing God!
I’ve been ordained as a Pastor and now serve as the Associate Pastor at Second Baptist, Church, Pasadena, TX.
My mom would be so proud!
I finished college! Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry. Finished with a 3.92 GPA!
He has saved me from the pit!
Received my 25-year sobriety chip!
Will see him again one day!
Lost my little brother. My best friend. Lenny.
To His sovereign will I submit.
Have been diagnosed with eight-herniated discs and live in constant pain.
And now a new chapter. A fresh start. A chance to take the last eight years, with all it’s ups and downs, and incorporate them as I return to my first love.
Writing.
Another book? I pray so. With His help.
