When evil comes around
Or have the faith to soar in space
With Houston on the ground
To find escape from anger fits
If stress is building up
And grace to be polite and cool
When meanness interrupts
What silly mess there would be
If marching bands without direction
Stepped each to his own drum
And no one gave correction
Without street signs and lights to change
The scene would be absurd
Like Keystone Cops gone plumb amok
We’d never know to stop or go or stay close to the curb
And don’t forget to redirect
Those parts of us that tend to wiggle
Body smoothers under what we wear
Reins in that extra stuff we do not want to jiggle!
Some domination has its place to keep us regulated
But wisdom in things great and small
Discernment, prayer, and always (always)
Eyes on HIM will shield us from an evil fall
