Death is everywhere.

When I look in the mirror I see it staring back at me from the crow’s feet around my eyes, and the sagging skin at my neck.

I feel his breath upon my shoulder as I reach up to tuck a grey strand of loose hair behind my ear.

I hear Death whisper in the thinning voice escaping my lips.

I touch Death’s hand on the railing going down the stairs.

But I will not give in to Death’s identity. I am a resurrected one. Death has no hold on me.

I realign my thoughts with the mind of Christ.

I rebuke the lies of the enemy that this physical body defines me.

I recommit to relying on the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead who lives in me.

I redeploy my intentions to things of the Spirit.

I reenter the position in Christ that He won for me on the cross.

I refresh my spirit in the presence of Papa God, who is good and who loves me beyond this flesh.

I regain perspective on what this life is for.

I rehear the call of God on my life.

I reinfuse His purpose and His will into my day.

I rejoice in my salvation.

I rekindle my first love and allegiance to my Saviour.

I reload my thought patterns to align with who God says I am.

I remarry the Lover of my Soul.

I renotify the enemy that he has no claim on my life now or in eternity.

I reorient my life to the North Star - Jesus.

I repent and repledge my whole heart to my Creator.

I request Holy Spirit to guide and teach me.

I reread the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I restart each moment focused on Light and Life.

I retune the channels of my ear-gate to hear only the Good Shepard’s voice.

I reunite my spirit with Christ.

I revive whatever is true, honourable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, excellent and worthy of praise.

I reweave my future firmly in His hands.

I rezero my count of all I've done for God and rest in His unfailing love.

I am redeemed, released, and revived and ready to receive all He has for me.

“And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus more fully and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and I will be one with him in his death. Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death.” Philippians 3:10-11 The Passion Translation
