To: All 3rd through 12th level denizens of earth
From: Diabolik
It has come to our attention here at Head Quarters that there is some confusion amongst you denizens of earth regarding your charges. We placed each one of you carefully over certain people, fully trusting that you would look after them in a manner befitting the high standards we have had in place for eons.
Our latest training module (available via podcast, YouTube, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and as a TED Talk) details our mission, our goals and objectives and how to achieve them. Yet we have been made aware that a large number of your charges have given you the slip and Our Father Below is not pleased.
I expect all of my employees to watch the training module, but for the sake of expediency I will highlight the salient points:
We do not want any of your charges to ever fulfill the enemy’s mandate to them – you know the one, “Go and make disciples, blah, blah blah.” In order to stop them from doing this, you have to be subtle, because, by Our Father Below’s name, these humans are getting smarter.
One way, mentioned in the training video, is to throw so many ‘urgent’ things at them. Earthquake that killed so many people here – but wait, war is breaking out there – hang on – there’s a tsunami coming – and the threat of nuclear war – and oh, fires and drought, and mudslides…
We have discovered one weakness with these humans, and that is their immense capacity for compassion (UGH)! But we can play that against them. If you inundate them with these ‘urgencies’ many lose focus on what they know they should be doing, and instead scurry like little ants from one thing to the other, but never really spending any time on long-term solutions, or even trying to fulfill their mission within the crisis they are currently embroiled in. It is amazing how we can distract them!
Use those humans who are firmly entrenched within our ranks to bring dissenting voices as well. Those who constantly rail against everything our enemy stands for – they are our best allies in this war on humanity. The more revered they are in the public eye, the better.
Our Father Below is satisfied with the progress of a few of you, but others, you had better watch out! The moment some of these humans realise they are not fulfilling their enemy-given mission, the moment our enemy somehow breaks through our ranks, and nudges his creation to do better (well, of course for us, worse), we can expect major trouble. I take it as given that none of you want to feel Our Father’s wrath? Remember the great blowout of -5609? Let’s not repeat that!
In conclusion: I have asked Forneus to remotely track all of you on earth, and ensure that you watch the training module. It includes other highlights such as: how to keep your human in torment; how to use the media to influence your human; how to make your human forget the enemy; how to get your human to ruin his/her place of worship (if they are still in church) and so on.
