I have a miniature TV
That I take everywhere with me.
I love shows with photography
Of panoramic scenery.

The views I like especially
Are giant mountains and the sea.
They’re pictured with such clarity,
They seem an actuality.

Beloved shows of family
Tell all about our history.
Some plots are sad as they can be,
But many have some comedy.

The shows with people dear to me
Who’ve gone to their homes heavenly
Bring grief for loss, yet I foresee
My life with them eternally.

A series that appeals to me
Reveals the personality
Of friends with hearts of constancy,
And time with them spent happily.

With shows of hymns sung joyfully
And messages of “sin set free,”
I contemplate the guarantee
That God will always be with me.

I have a miniature TV
That I take everywhere with me.
This TV’s not a mystery.
It’s my God-given memory.

I read through your poem and thought it was okay in a sing-song kind of way, but a little confused about what you were watching.

But after ready the above comments I went back for a second read. NOW I am impressed. What a wonderful take on the beautiful scenes and memories our mind can show us. Great piece.
