and reflect on how its vastness pales
in comparison to the love of God—
that’s amazing.
To be awakened before sunrise
by a chorus of birds,
cheerfully greeting the day,
and remember that God loves
even the smallest one,
and He knows when it falls—
that’s amazing.
To see after a rain the beautiful rainbow
arc across the sky, reminder of the surety
of God’s promise—
that’s amazing.
To witness the magnificence
of sunrise and sunset, as well as
many other beauties of God’s creation in nature—
that’s amazing.
To read in God’s infallible Word
that because of His great love,
He sent His only Son to die
for the sins of all mankind,
and that He has prepared a home in heaven
for those who believe in Him—
that’s amazing.
To have the assurance deep within my heart
that all powerful, all-knowing God loves me,
and there is nothing on the earth
or above the earth or below the earth
able to separate His love from me—
that to me is the most amazing of all.
