Past and present—great and small
In no particular order
Bringing me delight
Brilliant sunrise sending glimpses of heaven to earth
My handsome groom waiting in white dinner jacket at the altar
Pages of written praise in my prayer journal
Trees outside my window bowing to the wind’s demand
Husband with me seated among church congregation
Table of Thanksgiving feast with my family around me
Son with his grandson riding on his shoulder
College choir on risers where I’m smiling from the second row
Jamaican villa surrounded by brilliant bougainvillea
Pretty candy box of luscious assorted chocolates
Grandson standing proudly erect in Air Force uniform
Sunlight shining on the clear Aegean Sea
Uncle George at the piano making miracles of sound
Classroom of young teens where I’m standing behind the teacher’s desk
Mother kneeling at her chair with her Bible opened before her
Diamond snowflakes falling from the sky
Young son and daughter basking in the glow of the Christmas tree
Rainbow arched over a church steeple blessing all with its promise
Sister-in-law and husband and my guy walking with me on the beach

Granddaughter in victory dance as both babies nap
Sister and brother with me laughing as younger brother tells stories
Little black poodle snuggled in my lap

Fall tree leaves blazing orange and red and yellow
Grandson in little league uniform standing at bat
Song sheets with lyrics of favorite magnificent hymns
Dad standing head tilted to mine with his arm around my shoulder
Good friend with me enjoying coffee and conversation in my den
Great grandchildren gathered around a candle-lit birthday cake
Splinters of family joys with graduations, weddings, new grand babies
And quiet moments shared through the years with the love of my life
Too many images to capture in words as my kaleidoscope turns
