Will you ever speak to me directly? Can I hear Your audible voice?
No, but He gives me answers in His word.
I'm scared Lord, and I don't know what to do.
I want to trust you. Will I ever fully understand?
No, for His thoughts are higher than mine.
What about those times when I doubt?
Will You abandon me then?
No, for He will never leave me.
Life can be so overwhelming.
Can't You promise an easy life?
No, but He will hide me in the shadow of His wings.
It feels like the world is falling apart.
Will life ever be the same?
No, because maybe He wants me to be changed.
Lord, I just want peace.
Will You take away the storms?
No, but He will hide me in the cleft of the rock.
I don't think I can take this any longer.
Do I have to carry this alone?
No, for He gives me rest.
I think I’m starting to understand.
Is there anywhere You will not see me?
No, for even the darkness is light to you.
Lord, I want to know You more.
I want to trust You more. Will You help me?
Yes, for those who seek will find Him.
Thank You Lord, for never giving up on me.
Thank You for understanding even when I do not.
I'll never be able to repay You. But I believe. Is that enough?
Yes, Yes My child. It's always been enough.
