Tired hands clutch their ending ropes
Hearts unfocused. Minds confused.
Opportune moments--ignored--misused
But wait! Dormant seeds in stomped on earth
are given drink for their rebirth
Gold dust glistens in sunny shards
Quietly pricking hearts grown hard
U-turns allowed. Ignited hopes.
Time to relinquish fraying ropes
Fresh fruits feed a shriveled spirit
Words of love serve to cheer it
Laughter. Joy. Emotions bloom
like flowering fields nearing June
Stand tall now and don’t look back
I’ll supply whatever you may lack
Clearing clouds. Expansive views
await the weary with splendid news
Breathe in. Exhale. There’s life to taste
Seize opportune moments--not one, waste
Be glad. I’ve come to light your way
Believe. Trust. It’s a brand new day
Trials become your victories
as sweetness rides the morning breeze
New hopes replace those that perished
Humbleness. Give. Learn what to cherish
With Me, my children never die
if on My words they will rely
