Oh, I liked this.

Wasn't sure at first whether this was supposed to be a modern day take on a Bible story, or just a story with Biblical implications, but it really didn't matter much one way or the other... It almost works both ways. :)

I loved the poem at the end, too!
This is just so beautifully written. I love your wonderfully crafted words, your descriptions of both Marilyn's despair and the trusting contentment of a new-born. Particularly love the sentence 'The Lord of Heaven and earth remained in charge of both for He governs all of the eternal, now as well as the eternal then.' Another lovely reminder of Kairos moments! Thankyou again.
This is a lovely message and how creative to show how eternity exists in a newborn.
