Hmmm...this one made me think. I agree - this recent rash of much-publicized suicides has been dreadful. At the same time, though, it's done much to help promote the pro-homosexual agenda.

As your story so well makes the point, sin is sin, but yet we tend to judge homosexuality with a firmer hand. I believe a big part of that is because it is something so abhorrent to the natural order of things. As created beings, we instinctively know when something goes against nature. Of course, that does not justify bullying or holding a holier-than-thou attitude.

At the same time, though, we need to be vigilant about upholding the Word of God and being willing to have an unpopular opinion in the age of "tolerance" in which we find ourselves.

Thought provoking - I appreciate that. Good writing, too!
I love this story! It took great courage for you to write it and I am so impressed. Cyber bullying has gotten out of control and we need to stand up to it. Thank you so much for a great story.
Thoughtful and well written.
This is a great message. I completely agree that we err greatly by passionately condemning homosexuality while seeming to condone heterosexual promiscuity as somehow more 'natural.' Sexual sin is wrong regardless of the mechanism used. And such confused young people need grace and love to help them find a better way.
My one observation about your story was that I was never quite sure whether your 'gay' man was actually dead or not!
Engrossing and very contemporary. The dialogue did exactly what it was intended to do - make the reader think and consider both sides of the issue. You've done a good job in dramatizing this with setting and emphatic vocabulary. Now the question remains are there those so predetermined and biased that they can ever be changed or at least empathetic and less judgmental by reading it.
Congratulations for placing 9th in level 4 and 13th overall!
Well done on making the top ten in Masters. This deserves to be widely read
