Light affronted darkness.
The void penetrated and began taking shape.
Formed through His Word.
Striking assault on evil; on the heels of “It is good” and rest.
Such beautiful mystery in it all.
Our Father delights at our inexplicable wonderment.
The dawns light slices the horizon in numerous shades and capricious.
Each morning His creation demonstrates His everlasting mercy and grace.
Evening light drops down over the day’s possibilities.
Time to reflect and rest.
By His stripes we are healed.
Un-infallibly cruel yet necessary.
Oh, how He loves us.
Created in our mother’s womb.
Knows the number of hairs on our head.
Holds our tears in a bottle.
Gathers our prayers as sweet-smelling incense.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Who chose to be pierced for our transgressions.
Thrust into the depths of our depravity-in Love Divine.
Light of the world challenged and overcame the darkness…
Each moment leaves the ninety-nine to seek one lost.
Hallelujah!
