Topic: Almighty (10/03/24)
We know that God can do all things. If He cannot do all things, He is not Almighty. But if he is Almighty, He can do all things.

When I think about God, I think of Him as the Almighty because of who He is. He is the Great Creator who created all things for Himself, and nothing made that He did not create.

In the scripture, God reveals Himself as the Almighty to individuals. For example, He appeared to Abram when he was ninety years old and nine and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect." Read Genesis chapter 17.

For me, I see God in the scripture as the Almighty. Regardless of what is going on in the world, He is still in control. He is the God of all gods; therefore, He is greater than the gods of this world.

I worship Him as the Almighty because that's how He reveals Himself to me. He is in control of my life. I see Him in every situation in my life, working them out for my good. As the scriptures said, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose," Romans 8:28 (NKJV).

I think about King David as a shepherd boy who slew the bear and the lion to protect his father's flock of sheep. I believe that, when he cared for those sheep, God revealed to him that he was the Almighty. So, when he met with Goliath, he was confident because he knew the Almighty, and he knew that there was nothing that the Almighty God couldn't do. He knew nothing is impossible with God. That was his testimony. And it should be ours as Christians.

For we know that the Bible tells us, “With God, all things are possible."

This is a beautiful devotion that makes great points and uses Scripture to reinforce the message. One thing I'd urge you to do is go back and count how many times you used the topic word. I think you'll be surprised. Some of the best on-topic entries may never use the topic word. Trust in yourself. You did a fine job of writing on topic, even if you had used other words than almighty(Jesus, God, Lord, etc). You have a clear message too. If you haven't considered submitting to FW devotionals, I'd urge you to do so. You've a great message.
