Rich and welcoming to nourish its ‘soul’
Farmers plant seeds all over the world
The same methods as passed on through generations..
Planted in moderate spring weather,
Soon rain and the sun pull its yield
Roots form, sprouts emerge and then branches reach out
In months or years, a leafy tree grows and then fruits arrive.
Just so, in the earth one day a King was sent
This King was planted and used His Word as seed.
When planted in a mind it roots and sprouts.
Jesus is the Living Seed, born of David and of a woman.
Not fathered by a man. He is with us.
Jesus came in the assigned prophesied time and place
Into the earth, He was planted to grow
From Seed to man; He sprouted and branched.
Thirty years to full manhood maturity
Anointed by the Holy Spirit and baptised to go
With the help of twelve, He gave out love to everyone
Spiritual gifts of healing, deliverance and resurrection were sown.
So, followers of Christ, with the help of the Holy Spirit
Share the gift of love to your neighbours by feeding and clothing.
Tell the Gospel, house the homeless and forgive your enemies,
Spend time in His Word and support His missionaries.
Partake not in evil deeds
Do not kill, steal, gossip or hate.
Do not fornicate or commit adultery,
Or invade your neighbour’s county.
His Love does not abuse or murder children
Rejoice, in God’s Kingdom all will be well
Death and sorrow will cease
Good will flourish and evil will die forever.
