Topic: JOURNEY (01/13/22)
Life brings a journey that will have both upward climbs and downward slides and both are equally important.

We cannot expect to only be on the mountain top because then we would have no need for God. It is through the valleys that we learn and experience the wisdom of Jesus. It is within the valleys that we will search for Him and seek His advice. It is not a bad place to be if we keep our perspective correct.

His Word is our road map so when you hit a roadblock pick up your map and seek out the proper direction.

We will go up and down the mountain and that is a good thing because along the way we will meet others and share our experiences and glean from one another.

The word of God says we should rejoice through the trials. “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” (James1:3 ESV)

It is through the trials that we are purified and blossom. We go through the fire so all impurities can be removed and then you will have golden nuggets of wisdom to share with others.

This walk with God, up the mountain and down again and so on and so forth, is where we truly learn to love, give of ourselves and die to self.

This is a journey well worth taking.

You make some great points. This is a piece of encouragement. You forgot to mention the plateaus or flat land, which is also a big part of our journey too. I really liked the roadblock analogy. You did a great job of writing on topic and delivering a clear message.
