I can’t believe what I’ve just heard. Felicity McAdams lost her temper with Maggie Evans. Apparently she accused her of lying and Maggie said who was she to talk when her whole life was a lie! It appears Maggie was at the same school as Felicity and now they have met up again Maggie seems to take great pleasure in scoffing at Felicity’s belief in God. Well we all know Maggie is an atheist to the core. She is forever talking about evolution and running down anyone who may even hint at there being a Creator. Felicity is a believer and is quite prepared to share her beliefs with anyone who asks, but she doesn’t shove it in our faces.

Well, I guess I don’t know and you don’t know but we all have our opinions.

Anyway, as I heard it, and I don’t like to share gossip, but just between you and me, I was quite shocked. Apparently when they were at school, the boys used to call Felicity Facility! I can well believe she won’t want that spread around! She seems so happily married now and her husband adores her. I wonder if Maggie is just jealous.

Actually, when the row started, Maggie had claimed to know some politician or other who had given her inside information on a sensitive subject and Felicity had told her to make sure of her facts before spreading gossip. Handling the truth carelessly was as good as outright lies and that was what she was doing by twisting facts.

Maggie retaliated by shouting at Felicity about calling herself a Christian when really she was no better than anyone else. Unfortunately it all blew up into a slanging match until Felicity said OK: she was a sinner, saved by grace. Grace sure didn’t show her face when she shouted back though.

Then that God follower, Tracy Goodson stepped up and hugged Felicity. She was all honey and sweetness telling Felicity to think of what some guy called Paul had said. As I heard it there was a lot of hugging going on and then Felicity actually apologised to Maggie. She said, ‘I am so sorry that I shouted at you. You see, I became a new creation when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and now nothing can separate me from His love.’

I suppose that’s what they call 'turning the other cheek' is all about, but everybody is talking about it now. People are queer. Someone who shall be nameless told me Maggie had actually walked off with Tracy and Felicity and was asking questions. Ugh! Can you imagine? We all thought Felicity was Miss Goody two shoes but I wonder what will happen now. What will happen when Maggie gets back to us with all the dirt she knows? I can’t wait.
