The first of God’s annual feast days mentioned in Scripture is the Passover. It commemorates the greatest event in the people of Israel’s history, in which the children of Israel were liberated from years of slavery in Egypt.
As God instructed Moses, each Israeli household killed a lamb and painted their doorposts with its blood. It was the Passover lamb because when the angel saw the blood he 'passed over' that house and did not kill their firstborn.
Thousands of years later, there was a lamb sacrificed with a difference. He was a Man who would save his people.
“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29 ESV) as spoken by John, the Baptist. The lamb that would be slain was Jesus. He was the Firstborn and Only Son of God.
In Luke 22:14 {NIV} Jesus vocalised to his twelve apostles/disciples his foreknowledge not only of Passover but of his soon coming death by crucifixion as he broke the bread and drank the wine with them. This lamb's body would be broken and his blood spilt. "With fervent desire, I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;.."
Paul later makes reference when he wrote in 1 Cor. 5:7 {AMP}; "For Christ, our Passover has been sacrificed".
In Revelation 5, John writes that in the throne room, angels were singing in celebration. Here we again see the Victorious Lamb. Elders and Living Creatures celebrate too. Their song to the Lamb include these words {v 9 -10 NIV}
..." you were slain, and with your blood, you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
As Christ followers, we are the people of every tribe and language and people and nation! So let us celebrate in praise with all of heaven for the promises of those words.
In a loud voice, they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and praise!” {v12 NIV}.

I also think the intro could be more powerful by starting with a sentence you put in the middle of your first paragraph: All peoples feast.
