not knowing what to do.
My sins were a burden
a darkness to go through.
Had no one to talk to
I'm feeling so alone.
Cast out into the street
no place to call my own.
Standing in tattered clothes
I was a sight to see.
Not knowing my Savior
or what He meant to me.
There wasn't any noise
I could not hear a sound.
Stomach growled with hunger
I fell down to the ground.
So weak I could not stand
I died would be the news.
That's when I heard the sound
a man in sandaled shoes.
He reached down and touched me
His hand a shining light.
With His touch He saved me
He saved my soul that night.
"I will always be here
you just call out My name."
With His stripes He healed me
I'll never be the same.
Jesus is my Savior
He took away my sins.
He made me feel so happy
the best I've ever been.
If you have a burden
of sins you cannot hide.
Give them all to Jesus
He'll keep you by His side.
