Topic: End Times (02/27/14)
“Father, do you see? His time is coming to an end. Do you want us to go now? “

“No, not yet. It’s not time. I have to allow this to come to the end. This must be complete, so the world can be set free. “

“Father, they are lashing his back! He doesn’t deserve this! Freedom for the world is coming at a great cost. Does the world understand?”

“Not fully, but one day they will. See the blood pouring to the ground? That is the blood that will wash the world clean. It is not falling unnoticed. I see. “

“Where are they taking Him now? No, Father! Not the cross! He is too weak. He can’t carry the burden of the world on His bloodied back. With one word from You, and this madness will stop!”

“Yes, you are correct. With one word I can release you and the armies that you lead, but to comfort My Son, I sacrifice the ability to comfort the world. Trust Me.”

“Father, the screams! I can’t watch any longer! What hatred holds a nail that cold? What fear forces the thorns so great onto the brow of perfection? Do they have hearts that beat? How can they do this? Please let me go to Him.”

“Yes, the hatred is great, but His love is greater. He does this for the ones who pound the nails, and for those who sought the thorns. He wants Me to forgive them. “

“Father, He’s calling for you. Please, let me go to Him now. He needs us! Listen, He speaks. No! He thinks you have forsaken Him! He needs your comfort. When can I bring Him home?”

“Soon. The darkness will encounter the Light, and then the host of you will be released to bring Him home. The time is near.”

“I know that Your Son’s life is the only way for humankind to come near to You. The great love you have for them is like nothing we have ever seen. Can they possibly grasp the greatness of what is happening for them right now?”

“Some will. Others will worship many other things, but if it was only for one, My Son would endure all of this pain. Listen, He is saying something……It is finished. The time has come to an end. Bring My Son home!”

A wonderful contribution that explains why The Father had to allow His Son to bear all the indignities that we should suffer but He (Jesus) did for our sakes. Thank you for your article.

I live this. I really thought I had commented on it already. I'm not usually a title reader, but yours caught my eye because one of the first movies I watched on my family's new Version was Heaven Can Wait. Your title is brilliant and a perfect fit. It certainly doesn't need red ink, and the only thing I might have offered would have been to give the reader a hint of body language with some narration between the dialog. Perhaps the angel could have been wringing his hands or even chewing on his fingernails. The scene was so intense and you did a brilliant job with it. It reminds me a bit of one of my stories. I could relate to the angel and feel God's pain as he looked in. I have no doubt that this will touch people in ways you might never anticipate. Congratulations on ranking 3rd in your level and 13 overall! The highest rankings can be found on the message boards.

Sorry it was supposed to be I love this, not live. Version should have been VCR. A lesson to all to always proof, especially if your tablet has one of those prediction programs. ;) Again, congratulations!
