The blessed cry of new life, sweet and innocent.
But as innocence grows up in this wicked world,
Sin grows like cancer as sin’s guilt eats the soul.
Faith, hope, love and trust are natural to a child,
Looking up to their parent, but just for awhile.
Changing from child to adult is the torn teen:
Home and friends and everything in between.
Running, searching for the answer to shame,
The child will not find it playing satan 's game:
The overwhelming torment of temptation--
Giving in to sin is the root of ruination.
Wandering through life carrying all that sin;
The child has grown up, but still a child within.
All this time The Father waits for the moment...
When the child is ready to receive His Word.
God orchestrates a crossroad for a meeting:
He sends a servant with a love greeting.
The child soon learns Jesus is The Truth:
There is no other way to heaven--boom.
Revelation.
Now the blessed cry of new life, sweet and innocent:
Just born again, child’s first breath, fresh from heaven.
