It was just another day,
The life of planet Earth,
Old men did wonder,
As child begat child in birth.
Long days of hard work,
With little the moments fun,
Men still toiled unending,
In the world's age old sun.
The beggar continued pleading,
The blind man still was lost,
Rich men carried on,
No matter what the cost.
Yet in a simple church
On a quiet part of town,
The layman silently wept
With beared head bowed down.
Dark with fear and terror
The world of men consumed,
Lust, greed, and self-glory,
The road for the doomed.
Children died unwanted,
Still in the mother's womb,
Youths sang in the shadows,
Dancing on dead men's tombs.
The old wine was bitter sweet
Yet coveted as the best,
A new drug to turn the mind
To polluted dust like the rest.
As the last reborn cried
For the fate of fallen men,
Calling out his only hope
As life came to an end.
In the darkened closet,
Like lightning in a flash,
The world seen in a moment,
Coals and burning ash.
Then wind to stir the embers
Into a furnace flame,
A mighty roar of thunder,
As the cyclone came.
The Earth shook in violence,
Cursed were tents of man,
Those lost and still seeking,
Their own deluded plan.
Golden houses crumbled
Like bits of broken glass,
In the Heavens sounded
The final trumpet blast.
From the skies an army rode,
On wings of godly light,
In the fore on a shining steed,
The Lord clothed in might.
"To Me," the great One cried,
His children began to rise,
An holy host of servants,
Into the clouds did fly,
The battle was called,
With the soldiers marching,
New and old the forces joined,
To victory with their King.
The tearful day was won,
In a burning cleansing flames,
Beaten was the enemy
And to the pit in chains.
The world renewed from faith,
With skies glowing bright,
Peace to reign eternal,
Within the Lord's loving light.
Children changed in a moment,
Tarnished gray to purest white.
Song and dance of the heart,
Eternity now stands waiting,
Days of endless harmony
In praise with life unfading.
Tall on His throne of glory,
The Morning Star of heaven,
A solemn King shed a tear,
For His lost child had fallen.

I believe that the Lord will shed a tear for those who by the time of the last call had not accepted Him.
These images you painted were especially haunting:
"Children died unwanted,
Still in the mother's womb,
Youths sang in the shadows,
Dancing on dead men's tombs."
"Golden houses crumbled
Like bits of broken glass,
In the Heavens sounded
The final trumpet blast."
Wow!
