I am constantly in prayer for my children, I always pray that God will shine his love into their hearts the same as he did into mine. Today out of the blue my four year old daughter said to me that the devil goes around breaking peoples hearts into pieces, astonished that she would come to that conclusion at such a young age... I agreed with her and asked her what else she knew?

She then proceeded to tell me that God takes the broken pieces of peoples hearts and glue's them back together... again astonished I agreed with her.

Just as I thought the conversation was done she asked me “Mom, what kind of glue does God use to keep those pieces from falling apart again” I answered her by saying “God uses Love to keep us from falling apart”.

My daughter then told me that the devil uses our sins to break our hearts into pieces, and again I had to agree with her.

After my conversation with my four year old daugther, I thought to myself “why do we (adults) find it so hard to comprehend what a four year old understands without complications?"

I found the answer in Mark 10:15 I tell you the truth anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.

It’s as simple as that. God Love is the Glue that keeps us from falling apart.

Great testimony - love it when our children 'get it'. Watch grammar and punctuation a little, and try showing a little more, rather than telling
e.g."my four year old perched on the arm of my chair. 'Mummy, I've got a question,' she was fidgeting...."

You can learn a LOT from kids. It always amazes me that they see everything as brand new. If you took a group of four year olds and asked them to paint something or sing something they would almost ALWAYS respond with an effort. If you wait until they're in Junior High, about half of them would respond. If you wait until they'e in college about a third of them would respond and this same group, upon becoming adults, would offer excuses such as "I can't sing" or "I can't draw" etc.

Hug your four year old tonight and thank God that He has put her in the care of a Mom who "gets it". Then sing a song or draw a picture and above all else...Keep writing. You have a gift.
