“I asked my Pastor for help paying my rent and he said, “No!”
“I asked my Group Leader to speak on the Retreat and he said, “No!”
“I asked my Discipleship Teacher if I could answer a question and she said, “No!”
“I asked a Brother in the LORD to help me get a job and he said, “No!”
“I asked a single Sister in the LORD for her phone number and she said, “No!”
“I asked someone in Church if I could pray for them and they said, “No!”
“I invited a Backslider to come back to Church and he said, “No!”
“I tried giving out Religious Tracts in the street and everyone said, “No!”
“I tried to Fast and my body said, “No!”
I tried to study the Bible and my mind said, “No!”
“I tried to pray and my Spirit said, “No!”
“They asked me to Tithe and I said, “No!”
“I asked my Flesh if I could sin and he said, “YES!””

Interesting entry that holds so much truth. Sin comes much too easily for us and Godly things are so difficult.
I'm trying to understand the "anger" connection. Is it the fact that you get angry with all the "no's"? Or angry that it's hard for your spirit to say "yes" to studying God's Word, etc., or maybe your expressing the anger at your flesh for being so easily taken?
Unique twist, that's for sure. Thanks for posting.
