waves gently rock you to

sail off to dreamland now
asleep in your hush-a-by boat
moon in the starry sky
smiles as you sail along;
on your dream-filled journey
stars light the way for you
they whisper sweet lullabies
shh-shh, shh-shh
here comes the hush-a-by boat
sailing off to dreamland
waves gently rock you to
sleep, shh, shh, shh
sleep now my little one
safe in your hush-a-by boat
God sends his angels
to guard and protect you;
feel their tender kisses and the
wind from their angel wings
gently it fills up your sails

here comes the hush-a-by boat
sailing off to dreamland
waves gently rock you to

Jesus will be with you
there in your hush-a-by boat
even though storms may come
and toss your small boat around;
don’t be afraid my child
when dark is all around
Jesus will light your way
