By the gentle raindrops the flowers grow
The grass turns green and the river flows.
The fruit will ripen, as the earth is fed,
Life replaces what once was dead.
The soft gentle wind seems to whisper a breeze,
That cools down the earth, bringing pleasant relief.
In its nightly arms it carries life,
To fertile the fruitless and calm the strife.
Behold the sun rays with cascading grace,
While warming the earth and lighting its face.
All of this shows that somewhere in space,
There’s an unwritten law in a royal place.
No voice is heard telling nature to act,
With unfailing loyalty we take as fact.
It can’t be seen and it can’t be heard,
But its unending nature in never lured.
No promise of roses in the winter spell,
Of freezing snow and killing hail.
But the sun always shines as the night time fades,
Not asking permission to spread its rays..
Did the sun stop shining to bring on the night,
Or was it rotation that blinded the light.
Why does the wind show its anger and whirl?
Or the raindrops harden and hail drops swirl.
It’s the warming sun rays that scortch the earth,
Make it barren, and question its worth.
Because of a balance life is maintained,
Only the extremes can break its aim.
The spring and the fall show the tender truth,
Bring to fruition and retire the youth.
Like spring’s tender touch to the cold frozen earth,
A friends tender words mend the heart that is hurt,
When the leaves turn green and the birds start to sing,
The heart is made merry by the peace that it brings.
And up from the earth, the well springs burst,
Just like the joy from a friends tender words.
