I enjoyed this story too. It probably identified a question many of us have about loved ones who are gone. You showed clearly the lesson God showed you via your care of the plant.
You had the odd punctuation error, but I'm sure you already know that!
The only thing that wasn't clearly written was the last line - it would have been better to make it clearer - she was at peace, and so was I.
Excellent. Well done. I really enjoyed reading this message of hope. How many of us can't relate to the struggle of the final end of a loved one. Good job.

"If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared." Ps.130:3-4
The Lord has many ways to bring us His comfort, doesn't He! You express your heart so well in your writing. Thanks for sharing!
A very sweet and tender story of familial love and God's ongoing involvement in human life! You told the story well; I was right in the palm of your hand the whole way. :-)
