all true justice, does God now define
sunset’s grandeur granted by design,
laughter’s gift, just part of His provision.
providing life through every season
each heartbeat gifted by His plans
holding earth, in love scarred hands
all beauty – God becomes the reason.
refreshing new streams of living water
flows from the kindness of God’s heart,
each soul a reflection of His art
love’s expression in each son and daughter.
beyond all powers, does His might transcend
no mountain height, His help cant scale
no giant faced, can – God’s plan derail
for He is the beginning and the end.
powerful lightning strikes and rolling thunder
nature’s dance enhanced by lavish colour,
scarlet stain of man’s pride makes it duller
as His stunning grace and love we plunder.
though wounded deep, we can still stand today
dressed in the splendour of God’s faithful touch
His strength and might, always will be our crutch
His glory - beyond what our words can say.
our pain and sorrow, His mercy greets
each trial of life was His to bear,
burden’s shadow He came to share
the King of Kings walking dusty streets.
the Almighty – hanging on a piece of wood
displaying strength in every way,
bruised and beaten, not by man’s play
but by His desire to have love understood.
Psalm 91:1-2 ESV He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
