This is a sweet sentiment that many people can relate to. You definitely touch on the topic, but the theme could be scattered more throughout the article. It's vital to proofread before you submit or ask someone else to do so. Some simple restructuring of sentences could help the flow a bit. For example if I were to edit this, I might suggest something like: A few years after I devoted my life to Christ, I hungered to get to know Him even more. Using a read-the-Bible-in-a year program, I've been eager to devour the books as quickly as God allows.
That's just a quick suggestion to show ways to mix up sentence structure and avoid that awkward part where you repeat "to read" back-to-back.
I like the Bible verses you selected. They really reenforce your message. With some tweaking, I think this would make a nice devotion. Good job.
I felt your passion for the Lord and His Word.
I print my entries out and read them out loud to help me find little errors. Just a suggestion as I find it hard to find my mistakes on the screen
Bless you!
