Previous Challenge Entry (Level 2 – Intermediate)
Topic: WORK OUT (05/20/21)
Sometimes it is hard for me to have faith when my husband yells at me for being dumb or incompetent. Those are the words that nobody wants to hear. For example my spouse thought that he was missing some money, and that Stole it. I told him that I never took it which was true. He threatened to call the police on me. I thought he meant to take me down, and I was scared because maybe the police would have thought that I was actually a thief. I prayed silently that I would not be found guilty.

Later on that day, we went through our expenses such as car repairs, groceries, fast food, gas, and clothes. My spouse also found some money on the floor of out vehicle. which was a hundred dollar bill. My husband apologized to me, and thanked God in my heart that he did not drive me down to the police station to be investigated.

I have to keep working on my faith, and pray that God will be with me through hard times.

Having faith in your salvation has nothing to do with being abused by a spouse or anyone else. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect Please, seek out help. There are resources everywhere. I care and will be holding you up in prayer.

If this is a true story, this is heartbreaking. Please get help immediately. Your husband is abusive and you need to get to a safe location before things escalate to physical abuse.

I think it's great that you want to keep working on your faith. Our relationship with Christ is so important. He loves us very much and is sadden when we are hurting and afraid. God will be beside you during everything. Sometimes things seem little to us and we wonder if it will matter to God. I assure you if it's important to you it is important to God. If you feel put down, stupid, or insignificant because of your husband's words that is breaking God's heart. Many people will quote the Bible about being submissive to your husband, but that's not the entire messge. The husband is supposed to act as Christ would. I think you need to ask yourself if your husband is behaving as Christ would. It also says in the prior verses that couples are meant to submit to one another and work together. I see you've a lot of feedback here, but if you want to talk to anyone, please feel free to contact me at any time. Keep writing and expressing yourself. You are loved and your words will likely help others in ways you may never expected when you started this article. Keep the faith and examine what Christ really is asking of you. God bless.

Oh, my! The reviews ahead of me have said pretty much what I would say of your home situation - assuming this is a true story. On a review basis of the entry (and I don't mean to take away from the severity of your situation), if you are not using a grammar/punctuation tool, it would be wise of you to do so. Read your entry again and I think you will see that there are a couple words missing. For instance, you have the word "stole" capitalized and you forgot to put the word "I" right before it. This is a heart-wrenching writing and a situation that needs to be addressed by you soon. Please take to heart what these other people are saying to you. God bless you!

I think that if this entry is based upon a true occurrence, God is actively demonstrating you should seek help.
