Topic: MUSIC (04/02/20)
Music is a beautiful way to express ourselves and it comes in so many genres. Each of us will have our preferences, but that is the power of music.

Music goes back to as far as time began. King David is well known for his words as a singer or Psalmist. I love the Psalms. King David had a heart for the Lord and even when he was complaining or seeking Gods guidance he always went back to praising the Lord.

In Psalm 3 King David expresses how his adversaries have increased, but in verse 3 he says, “But Thou, O Lord, art a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.” That is so awesome!

The Song of Solomon is really a love song from God to us. It is so beautiful. Read it as if God is singing to you directly. It is impossible not to be moved. When my husband was alive we also read it together on our anniversary.

Music is inspirational, loving, peaceful, calming and so much more.

Music can lead us down roads where we can escape into a time of serenity or pure joy. We can dance ourselves into oblivion, but which ever it does it speaks to us.

Poetry, stories and even humor put to sound and that is music in a nutshell.

Your message was moving. But pay attention to punctuation. As a journalist, I know that readers will stop reading a piece if punctuation isn't proper. Other than that, you did a fine job!

This is a good attempt at the topic.
I like your bringing David into it. He certainly loved music and was responsible for the extravagant worship of his beloved God.
May I suggest, if you want to make it more captivating, make it personal. Instead of talking about the effect of music generally, describe how it affects you. What moods does it create in you. HOw do the words of a particular song affect you, etc.
Poeple love to hear personal stories because they can identify or sympathise. The whole trick is to get past the reader's mind and into their heart.
