Topic: STIR (11/12/15)
Round and round the earth spins day in and day out. It’s headed for a dramatic climax. God looks down from heavenly heights as Satan stirs nation against nation, people against people and more personally family against family. Is God doing anything against this onslaught on His beloved earth?

Yes, He did what any loving Father would do. He sent His one and only Son right into the midst of the Lion’s den. Satan has been wreaking havoc since the fall of man against God and His anointed. But we are confidentially reminded in Isaiah 59:19 “When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”
No matter what is stirring in the world whether it be tsunamis, terrorism or natural disasters the Spirit of God will raise up a standard against them.

These stormy times didn’t catch God off guard. He didn’t wake up from an eternal slumber on His throne and say “Jesus You better get down to earth I’ve let things get out of control down there. I didn’t think things would get this bad!” No! No! He orchestrated the birth, life and ascension of Jesus before the foundation of the world.

God at the fullness of times sent Jesus into the chaos swirling around us to bring revelation, wisdom and order to a planet seemingly out of control. God manifested in the flesh through His Son revealed his love and heart to a dying world. Jesus became God’s living message that He didn’t forget about us or leave us to Satan’s devices. We have hope in Jesus that God will walk us through any flood the enemy releases against us. Our nation and God’s people will stand strong and victorious behind the greatest standard the Spirit of God has ever lifted-Jesus Christ from the dead!
