Hey Kurt, how are you this morning? I’m so happy you are on your computer. I love this idiot box, because I don’t have to see you to carry on a conversation. I just received an IM from my grandson so will continue our conversation in a minute.”
“Kurt, you still online?”
“Yes Ramon I’m still here. The little IM popped up letting me know you wanted to talk.”
“I got some incredible news. I enjoyed spending time with my grandson since I see him so rarely. You will never guess what he told me. Go ahead give it a try, but you’ll never guess.”
“Ramon, when you get this excited it could be anything. I wouldn’t even venture a guess, because I would probably be wrong. Whatever he told you has to be something spectacular. What did he tell you? Are they moving closer? You would love that. Well, tell me already.”
“I’m going to be a great grandfather. Ha! I‘m so excited. He hasn’t told my son he is going to be a grandfather yet. I would love to be a fly on the wall to see his reactions. It’s about time I became a great grandfather my friend. Well, Louisa has my breakfast ready so will catch you later and now to brighten her day. She will probably go see Crystal after we finish breakfast. Later Kurt.”

9:00 A.M.
“Hey Ramon, are you still sitting at your idiot box as you so lovingly call it?”
“Hey saw the little IM pop up and yes I’m debating weather to tell my son or let his son tell him. What do you think?”
“We’ll talk about that later. Wish you could have seen the goings on when Louisa told Crystal the news. The two of them are in the sunroom holding hands, jumping up and down, and of course crying.”
“I know you and Crystal didn’t shed a tear when you became great grandparents, you cried buckets. LOL!”
“I suppose you are macho man Ramon. No you didn’t shed any tears. Ha! I heard all about it, because Louisa told Crystal how the two of you sat at breakfast crying, so stop giving me grief.”
“Kurt, at times you can be so irascible. LOL!”
“And looks who’s talking. An ill-tempered old goat. LOL!”
“ I love you to brother.”
“Ramon, you asked my opinion about calling your son and giving him the news. Before I answer that I’m going to ask you a question. If your father had called, and told you, you were going to be a grandfather how would that have made you feel?”
“Okay! I got the message. I’ll let my grandson tell his father, but I’m so excited. You have great grandchildren you old goat and this is my first. I’m 72 and just starting on my first one. You have three already. Well Louisa wants me to be ready when she gets back so we can hit the grocery store, so will talk at you later. Take care my BFF.
