Despair haunts your nights; self-loathing, your days.
If you listen you’ll hear Him, a voice dear and sweet,
Whispering, beckoning, “Child, enter in.”
“My Presence answers the questions you’ve wondered
And freedom is won through submission to Me.
You’re weary; you’ve dropped your shield of resistance.
Abandon your struggle, child. Enter in.”
You open the door to His invitation,
Shekinah glory bedazzles your eyes.
Drop to your knees in fear and reverence!
Present is Yahweh, your answer, your Lord.
Isaiah before you confessed his transgressions
And mourned for his people, their hardness of heart.
Lamenting, he cried, “Woe is me! I am finished!”
The coal touched his lips; his sins were erased.
Will you do the same, receive your deliverance,
Then go where He sends you in wisdom and strength?
No longer abide in your darkened condition.
He calls to you, “Listen, my child, enter in.”
