I feel the heartbeat in worship
The sound of the violins
Thinking how Jesus gives purpose.
The lyrics speak of His love
The choir sopranos belt high notes
I love the sound of baritones
The Holy Ghost takes me higher.
I am in the Spirit
A rush of waves run over me
As I’m lifted up from being heavy
A heart down trodden and lost.
But the Lord’s music keeps me strong,
The Lord’s prayers I say as I listen to the songs,
Of God’s magnificent Heaven,
I know I can’t go wrong.
I follow Jesus everywhere,
Even in my nervous state,
The music gets me through the pressure,
When the anointing is playing.
Lord you know what to do,
You know how to keep us satisfied
I love to worship and adore you,
I close my eyes and smile
Letting the music overtake me,
The music that never escapes me.
