is a tree of life
The tongue of the wise
brings healing
but the mouth of the fools
pours contempt
Be wise and curb the tongue
A soft answer
turns away wrath
but a harsh word
stirs up anger
So hold your tongue
before you speak
lest it becomes
slip of the tongue
A man gives joy
by the answer
of his mouth
A word spoken
in due season
is rhythm, melody
and harmony
to the soul
Words spoken in haste
would only undo
us in unexpected ways
Foolish or idle talks
would boomerang
and hit us hard
without mercy
Though the tongue
is small
it works like a tiny spark
which sets fire on a great forest
A tongue is small
yet it sets the course
of our life on fire
A tongue is a small rudder
that turns the direction
of the ship of our life
Why not hand it over
to the Pilot of Life
who will show you
the way, the truth and the life
