Topic: Spring (as in the season) (11/28/05)
Springtimes of My Youth
The springtimes of my youth are now gone and passed unto my children’s , children .
Woe be it unto us that didn’t enjoy those seasons in the sun . For they now belong to another , and we now face the years that once belonged to our fathers , father .
If we did not learn to enjoy the God given gifts of our youth , what profit can we now expect to gain in the years to come ? Wherefore does our hope lie ? In self , or in Christ ?
When He said “ cast your cares upon Me , for My yoke is easy , and My burden is light . It was for our benefit !
It was Him saying ; I have given you this time . It only lasts a short while . Grow in it , learn in it , love in it enjoy your season in the spring , for it only lasts a short time . Like the flower that blooms in the spring , your season in the sun will come to an end too . Your petals too will fall , giving way to the winter season of your life .
Your task is not at an end . It will just change .
In your winter season , you will get to see the fruits of your labor . How well did you tend to your garden of life ?The fruits of your spirit , whether one or they are many , are scattered through-out the land .
We pray they bring much beauty and joy upon the Earth . In our hearts , we know it all depends upon how well we tended our garden .
But with the winter years of our lives to come , also comes the fall garden and another chance to share the beauty of the world with a new crop . Pray that their harvest is bountiful and pray that they don’t get too tied up with the things of this world , to enjoy what they already have . The springtime of their youth .
Tell them it only lasts a short while . Then one day , all of a sudden , your job will be theirs and in turn , they too will have to tell their children’s , children .
For such is the story of life and the harvest of it .

Some unique thoughts on spring here.

I was distracted by your punctuation. Try eliminating spaces before punctuation marks, for a more conventional entry.

Keep writing, you have worthy things to say!
