Mother, you remind of Dad, he was always positive.
Mike had died in a car crash five years ago, leaving the responsibility of raising their only son to Jennifer. She had no formal job, only selling clothes along the streets. She had really struggled to raise her son, now that she was to join high school, she was sure that it was going to be a tall order on her.
Being a committed Christian Jennifer put her hope in God. She started selling vegetables and fruits to supplement her hawking income. After one month she had raised some deposit that enabled her acquire a loan from the women Sacco in her town.
Having kept her plans as a surprise to his son, Jennifer began buying all the requirements that the school had stated in the admission letter. The following scripture being her pillar and strength: Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Proverbs 16:3 (new international version).
Two days to the new month, Jennifer could see the desperation in her son’s eyes; it was time to tell him the good news
“James, start preparing”
‘For what mother”
“Because you are starting”
“You mean am beginning school”
“Yes son”
“Oh mother, thank you. I will always learn to trust God in whatever circumstance I face.”
James left for his room rejoicing. It was time to prepare for new life in boarding school.

There were a couple of punctuation errors and a verb missing from one sentence, but it didn't detract from the overall story.
As I was reading your article, I found it easier to add a word or two. You might have intended them to be there. sometimes as we write, we say the word but forget to write it down. Even when we proof read a piece we will put the word in even if is not on the page.
Nice story.
