Looking back, the young man could clearly remember the events that had taken place several years back that had shaped his life and character to the full. The journey had been a difficult one; no one by his own strength could have contained the steam and the boiling process, why was I taken through a life factory? He must have asked
He had been thrown into a pit in the wilderness with no one to help, despite the crying and shouting, the pot kept boiling, the ones that he thought to be his brothers stayed at a distance as some kept increasing the intensity of the pain.
From the pit he landed in a foreign land with no relatives, only to find himself in the house of a government official, at that point he thought that pain and the heat might subside, but another processing had to take place, yes the lust of the flesh had to be trimmed, so the pot kept boiling to an extend that he found himself in prison for a crime he never committed. Again the question came; why me God? He responded; "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:15 (New Living Translation)
That must have kept the young man at peace while in prison, but as the factory stages of production continued a new man was being generated, the process must have been painful and burning enough yet a man was fully molded and equipped to take charge as the prime minister of a great land. His brothers thought he was long death, but there was a divine plan as to why he faced all this, that his family might not perish.
You might identity yourself with this Joseph story; Christian life is like a factory process where God takes us through pruning and shaping. that burning steam coming out is a clear indication that some areas in our life has to die before God fully uses us for his service.it sounds scary when we talk about undergoing pain and some form of refining but God has assured us that that even in the fire he will stand with us, he will not allow us to undergo what we will not be able to bear.
But the question remains; Are you ready for the factory process?

Because of this chapter, we need to be careful how we pray for others who are going through trials. It is best to pray they see God's purpose in the trial.
Keep using God's word as encouragements for us in your writing.
