For those of us that do,we'll also learn something else about the key.
You see,when we use the key the other way,we turn it to lock the rooms of our past.
The rooms of our past lives will always be there. We'll walk by them sometimes daily. We'll always have that key that fits all of our past rooms and occasionally,occasionally we may even open one,or two of those past doors with that key and go in.
He'll wait for us to come back out. When we come back out[and we will] he'll hear our wimpering,our heart felt regrets and sadness and our prayer asking forgiveness.
"Yes,my child I know your weakness" He'll say.
"You know that I love you and always will."
"Now-lock that door and let's get back to our journey."
Our key is to listen to the holy spirit.
Our key is to not lose focus on His eternal promise and to believe His overwhelming love for us.
Yes,that's the key to enjoying life on this side of eternity.
Will we ever understand the depth of His love? No.
It's not meant for us to understand. We serve a risen Lord that we'll never understand. That is the key to enjoying this side of eternity!
The other side of eternity will need no more keys and there will be no more rooms to think about. Unlolck His door and not only feel His radiance but know He will be your loving guide on this journey.
