Topic: Agreement/Disagreement (01/19/12)
There is much disagreement today
In what we think and do and say.
Husbands and wives will disagree
When eye to eye they do not see.
Parents and children may conflict.
Their ideas may contradict.

Between boss and employee
Dissension we can often see.
Teachers and students don't agree.
Education has no guarantee.
A disagreement between friends
Is very difficult to mend.

Republicans and Democrats
Do not agree, now that's a fact.
Witnesses often don't agree
A just outcome we hope to see.
At Jesus' trail it happened thus.
False witnesses made a big fuss.

Many religions you will find.
Each believes theirs is the right kind.
Christian churches don't believe the same
But should worship in Jesus name.
Agreement is not alsays good
If it is based on falsehood.
For Ananias and his wife
When they agreed, it cost their life.

Sometimes we need to disagree.
Can this be done politely?
Our words should be both true and just.
The right tone of voice is a must.
It is vital for God's help to ask
When to find agreement is our task.

You are spot on with this! Agreement is not always a good thing; it can be hard to stand up for what you believe when others don't agree, or put pressure on you to change your opinion. That's when we do need to ask for God to help us stand our ground, (or show us the error of our ways, depending on the issue!).

There are a couple of teeny spelling errors that just interrupted the flow a little bit (we've all done it!), but otherwise a really great entry. Well done.
