Can you hear it?
It shook the heavens and the stars trembled with joy at the dawn of Creation. It was heard in the long ago past when Adam woke in the Garden of Eden; and later in Bethlehem, the angels sang it and shepherds heard it, at the birth of the Child-who-would-be-King.
It can still be heard today in the gentle breeze blowing through the trees; in the rumble of a summer thunderstorm; in raindrops splashing on a dry, thirsty earth.
The songbirds joyously proclaim it to the morning. It sometimes seems loudest in a black velvet starlit sky. It's in the bubbling, gurgling sound of cool, sweet water rushing and tumbling in a mountain stream. It can be heard in the scratchy, rumbling voice of a bent, old man praying aloud to his Creator or the sparkling laughter of children at play.
But it can be heard best in the silence of your own heart. GOD wrote this song to call anyone who will hear to come and bathe in His eternal, unlimited love and accept His offer of complete and total forgiveness. That is what awaits every soul who responds to the call of His song - the song of salvation. It is His melody. He created it and it fills to overflowing everything and everyone it touches.
It is the Melody of Grace.
