During this time I felt like I had been totally forsaken by God. I thought I had lost my salvation and would burn in hell.
I was in despair and without hope, but like Abraham I refused to give up hope.
I "hoped against hope".
I tried to pray, but the heaven's were brass. I felt the hardness of my heart, but could not shed a tear.
After the fourteen years were up for some reason the Lord was gracious to me and gave me the grace to cry out to him from the bottem of my heart, "God help me".
The very next day I got a job within the Lord's will that was in the same area as the work I had run from fourteen years previously.
The Lord had hidden hs face from me for
fourteen years, but now His face was shining on me.
That was six years ago and each year has been better than the last.
There have indeed been valleys since then, but none like the valley of the shadow.
