Topic: CHALLENGE (08/17/17)
I am a 52 yr old female, wife and mother. I was born on May 2, 1965. I was a preemie when I was born. I weighed in at 3lbs 4oz. was born in a military hospital in Germany. My dad served in the U.S. army for 3 years.

While going through elementary school, I had a hard time comprehending what I read. I got D and E in English. I struggled with with being very clumsy, I suffered severe headaches that would come and go.

My mind was racing so fast that I could hardly sleep, I would sleep 15 minutes and be up for 4 days straight. Over the years my symptoms came and went, that sometimes I thought I was ok.

In January 19, 1995 I had my first child and I could not feel contractions. I had to have a c - section. In March of 2003 I was married I had another baby and yet I could feel not contractions, so I had to have another c- section on July 16,2003.

During the year of 2004, my headaches were unbearable, all the doctor said was take a tylenol or motrin. In late summer while I was swimming at a pool in Pleasant Gardens, NC. half of my face went numb and tingling, my arms and legs and whole body were in a cramp, that was very painful.

In April of 2005 because my the way I was seeing things come at me while I was driving I quit. I had to be careful what I done, I prayed constantly that God would help me figure out my problem.

I wanted to live and take care of my kids and family. Finally my doctor was on vacation, and the doctor filling in for her, finally listened to me and ordered me a MRI brain scan on July 21,2005. In the morning of July 22,2005 I got the call that revealed a brain tumor on my right frontal lobe a meningioma. I was referred to Asheville neurology. Dr. Lytle done my surgery on July 28,2005. I was released from the hospital in 4 days. I thank God everyday for life and family he gives me.

Thanks for sharing part of your journey. It shows you were dedicated to doing all you could at your very best. To stop driving was very wise.

I am so glad you finally found a doctor who listened to you. It must have been very painful to endure those headaches.

Try to write out words instead of using abbreviations: yr. = year and spell out words under 10 "(nine, eight, seven, six, etc.)

Powerful testimony. I hope you will continue to write.

What a powerful testimony. I feel so sorry for you that you had to struggle so long with the pain but I am so happy that you are well.

I probably would have begun your journey with the pain and the tumor in your head.

I was so thrilled to read your story. Were there errors? Yes. Was it interesting to read. Absolutely.

You will touch many a heart with this story. I hope you keep writing about your life and the challenges you have faced. It encourages me very much.

If you can overcome the mountainous challenges you have faced in your life, you can scale the mountain of writing with ease.

Read your story out loud to someone else. They can point out a lot of little things that you might overlook.
