This is a beautiful description of our life with the Shepherd
Poems area good writing method to teach and produce emotions in a reader.

I believe poems are more effective when there is a consistency in placement of the rhyming words. This takes a lot of writing and rewriting. The sentences may not flow like they would in prose style of writing.

Also even length of the lines gains the attention and aids the reader. This also takes time and probably several re-writes.

Your thoughts lead to a good and proper conclusion.
Your poem illustrates even if we feel rejected, Jesus our Shepard welcomes us into the fold.
Your poem is a precious reminder of the Lord as our Shepherd.
