Topic: SWEET HOUR OF PRAYER (don’t write about the song) (04/30/15)
WHAT A PRIVILEGED PERSON I AM

I can go straight into the throne room of God Almighty without fear. I can go boldly and at any time. I can make my request known to Him, knowing that He hears. I also know that He will answer in the very best possible way.

Why am I fearless? I am fearless because He is my Father. He loves me beyond comprehension. He knows what is best for me. He is in the process of conforming me to the image of His only begotten Son (Romans 8:29). I am His beloved adopted son. I am a joint-heir with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17). All the riches of heaven are mine.

I may not be rich or famous now. I may have challenges and trials. But what difference does that make. I am a child of the King. My destiny is sure. My name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

You may ask, “How did all this happen?” Well, it all started the day I realized that I was a lost sinner, but was loved by God so much that He sent His Son to pay for my sins. I repented of my sins and asked Jesus to be my Savior. That was the start of my sweet time of prayer.

Now daily I have a time with God, and I meet with Him in sweet fellowship. I thank Him for all He has done for me. I thank Him for all He is doing in me as I am not the person I used to be. I give Him my day and thank Him for the way He will lead me, and all the provisions He will supply. I listen carefully to what He says to me through His Word. I love Him so much I want to please Him in all I do or say.

I feel blessed as we share this time together. Sometimes He has to correct me, but He always encourages me. He makes me feel special even when He has something in mind that would not be my first choice. I have found out that His way is always best. I can trust Him completely. I always feel like a prince when I’m in His presence.

Oh the joy to know that whatever is happening in my life, He is with me to give me strength, peace, encouragement, and love. All my needs He supplies. The blessings just keep coming.

I know my Father is there in everything that comes my way. Nothing is going to happen to me today that is outside His will for me. If I will but listen and obey I’ll come out on top of every trial that comes my way. If I need wisdom, He is there to give it to me. He will give me strength and courage to overcome, and I’ll be victorious in everything that comes my way.

In the Old Testament people did not have direct access to God. The High Priest could go into the most Holy Place only once a year. Even then he had to take the blood of the sacrifice to enter. But I have unlimited access to my Heavenly Father. I can feast at His table all the time. O how sweet it is!

Because my Father loves me, I have 24/7/365 immediate access to His presence. I never feel that I have interrupted Him or am a bother to Him. I can have that sweet blessed time with Him anytime and all the time. Wow! Am I ever loved!

This is a powerful testimony to God's grace. I love the phrase "I always feel like a prince when I’m in His presence," - I hope the Lord will enable you to share your witness with many others so they too will discover the hope you have found in Christ.
