I'm ready for meat.
Let me glean from your table, Lord, because it's
Savory to the taste.
I'm tired of messing up.
I'm tired of the slips.
Let me bow down before you with prayer --- it's
Savory to the taste.
No more time to waste.
No more games to play.
Let me speak only truth that is
Savory to the taste.
I'm stronger now, and better, too.
I'm pressing toward the mark.
Hitting the bulls eye, taking a stand. Jesus, you are
Savory to the taste.
The road has been long.
The mountains quite steep.
Embracing the promise, oh, how sweet, and
Savory to the taste.
Your wisdom and favor follow me.
Your anointing and glory envelop me.
Thank you, God, for your great mercy, it's
Savory to the taste.
