Each color in my garden is a reflection of God’s grace
There’s the red of the blood he shed for me
On the brown cross by which I am redeemed
When I gaze into the sky of blue
I imagine he is there for me and you
He gazes over me fulfilling all my needs
In my garden the pink is the glow of my thankfulness
For I know that in Christ I am truly blest
But orange tells me night may come
With trials and troubles till my day is done
Yet when I see the purples royalty I am reminded
Those petals can be crushed by people who walk by
The dark hues remind me all of life is not joy.
For there is the darkness that threatens to destroy me today
But it will be shattered by the Son’s bright returning rays
The white and black are the pages by which I grow
For I have one desire like him I must better become
The green is the strength given when I’m on my knees
You see the colors of life are a reflection of God’s grace
Each a reminder till we see Him face to face
