Have you ever wondered
Who is this man
who can turn water into wine ?
Who is this man who feeds thousands
with two fish and five loaves

Who is this man
who teaches
as one having authority
not as the scribes
and the pharisees

Who is this man?
Who has authority over sickness?
Who cast out demons and healed people
Who is this man?
Even the winds and waves obey him.

Who is this man ?
Who has power over life and death?
Who is this man
Who says “ Child
your sins are forgiven!”

Who is this man
even an obstinate donkey
and an unbroken colt
carried Him obediently
in the midst of the cheering crowd

Who is this man
who has twelve legions of angels
at his disposal
yet He willingly
laid down His life on the cross

When Pilate said
“I’ve power to free you or crucify you .”
But Jesus replied
“ You’d have no power over Me
if it were not granted above”.

What an amazing promise
for as many as receive Him
and welcome Him
He gives them the authority, the privilege
to become children of God
