He came to this earth
to die for us.
He showered us with love and grace,
and did so willingly,
went into darkness
in our place.
With overwhelming gratitude,
we kneel and bow to Him,
and we will never forget
He saved us from damnation
as He made the way
for our salvation.
Chorus
As the spikes held Him
to the cross,
as He sacrificed
for the lost,
His blood,
red trickles of redemption,
conveyed His love
for all mankind,
without exception.
No greater devotion.
His suffering
was love in motion.
And then
after three days,
He rose again.
His death on earth
was not the end.
He did it all
for you and me.
Now He lives
forevermore,
and we will spend eternity
with the One we adore.

He gave us what we could not earn,
and did so lovingly,
expecting nothing
in return.
With everlasting reverence
we serve and worship Him
may we be always sincere.
